Growing up in the Foothills of the Ozarks, Miranda Sawyer - also known as "Bird" - was immersed in a family legacy of craftsmanship, from roofers and millworkers to dam engineers and entrepreneurs. This background instilled in her a deep commitment to integrity and the building trades.

Seeking to balance creativity with logic, Miranda earned a B.S. in Mathematics from Northeastern State University as a Riverhawk before completing her Masters of Architecture from the University of Oregon as a Duck. After a decade in commercial architecture specializing in retail, hospitality, and active entertainment environments, Miranda is bringing that technical scale home to residential design across her home region. From cozy family patios to high-yielding vacation retreats packed with outdoor amenities, Bird pairs technical precision with a deep connection to the environment - designing functional sanctuaries that honor the place itself and enrich the lives of those who gather there.
